Dr. Halikias is currently studying further at The Center for Esthetic Excellence, another top level esthetic insitution renowned in the dental field. Dr. Halikias believes that the most rewarding aspect of her career is the ability to create beautiful, radiant new smiles, which enhance and change the lives of her patients. Dr. Halikias is committed to excellence in Dentistry. When Dr. Halikias is away from the office, she enjoys the company of family and friends, traveling, biking, running and spending quality time with her children and husband.

Dr. Stephanie Lemberis
Dr Lemberis is a 2012 Graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She has been a dentist with Perfect Smiles for 4 years but her career in dentistry started much earlier than that at Perfect Smiles.... as a dental assistant to Dr Halikias more than 10 years ago.
Dr Lemberis treats patients of all ages. Her goal is to create a comfortable and pleasant experience for all her patients. She is focused on taking the extra time to educate patients on the importance of their oral healthcare and also explain recommended dental treatment. She is committed to continuing education to provide patients with the latest knowledge and technology.
Dr Lemberis is a certified Invisalign Provider. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental society. Dr. Lemberis participates annually in the Give Kids a Smile event, which provides free dental services to children in underserved communities. She has also traveled as part of the Jamaica Dental Mission, an organization that provides dental services to impoverished areas of Jamaica.
Dr Lemberis lives in the southwest suburbs with her husband and two dogs. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family & friends and enjoying all there is to offer in the city of Chicago!
Dr. Sara DeSouza-Iampaglia - Endodontist
Dr. Sara is an experienced dental professional with an international, multi-cultural background. Dr. Sara earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Aracatuba School of Dentistry in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she also received her specialty training in Endodontics.
After working a few years in private practice in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Sara relocated to Chicago where she was accepted at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry into the Post-Graduate Program. She earned a Master’s Degree (MS) in Oral Sciences at the same time immersing herself in research projects including extensive research in biomodification of root dentin using bioactive agents. Her passion for Endodontics led her to pursue and complete her Postdoctoral Endodontic Certification and upon completion of the program, Dr. Sara received her specialty license to practice Endodontics.
Dr. Sara is a strong believer in continuing education, which includes attending courses, to stay acquainted with current trends in the field of Endodontics. Dr. Sara is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontics Study Club.
Dr. Sara currently lives in Naperville with her husband, and her two daughters, Isabella, 9, and Raquel, 6. During her personal time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Besides attending her daughters’ activities, which includes Tae Kwon Do and gymnastics, she is also a co-leader of the Girls Scouts of the USA. Dr. Sara loves crafts, cooking, baking, and good music.
Dr. Carl A. Leonard, D.D.S - Prosthodontist, Implant Specialist
Carl A. Leonard, D.D.S, received his dental degree from the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry, and thereafter completed an additional three year program at the U of I - College of Dentistry where he was awarded his certificate in Prosthodontics. Prior to earning his DDS and certificate in Prosthodontics, Dr. Leonard graduated from Tulane University with degrees in economics as well as cellular and molecular biology. Dr. Leonard taught at the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry, as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Leonard is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society-Sigma Chapter, the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society. While attending the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry, Dr. Leonard received academic awards including: the Dr. Gould Memorial Scholarship, General Assembly scholarship and placed in the college's Advanced General Dentistry contest.
Dr. Leonard is proficient in both traditional and complex dental treatment. He has extensive training in crown and bridge dentistry and dental implant placement as well as implant supported restorations. Dr. Leonard prides himself on helping patients overcome dental conditions that limit their chewing and comfort with the use of dental implants or removable appliances to create healthy, comfortable and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She received her Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
At the UIC College of Dentistry, Dr. Rodriguez held executive positions in multiple student organizations. She received both the Thomas Lakars Award and the Student Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists for exemplary leadership.
Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the Chicago Dental Society and American Dental Association. She attends meetings and seminars regularly and attends continuing education courses to further her education in the field.
Dr. Rodriguez currently lives in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. In her free time she enjoys traveling, fitness, and exploring Chicago’s restaurants scene.
Dr. Kristine Guliana
Dr. Kristine Guliana received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She then went on to receive a Masters of Science in Biotechnology at Rush University. Dr. Guliana earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
While in dental school, Dr. Guliana was awarded both the Ann Tschirley Gunatillike Scholarship and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievements in Periodontics. During which time, she offered community outreach to dental clinics in both Colorado and Chicago.
Dr. Guliana is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Chicago Dental Society. She regularly attends meetings and continuing education seminars to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the dental field.
Dr. Guliana is a compassionate and caring person who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. The doctor believes in patient education so that her patients can make informed decisions when it comes to their health care. Dr. Guliana can speak to patients in English, Assyrian, and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Yvette Battle
Dr. Yvette Battle earned her dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C in 2008, where she ranked top in her class and was awarded the Outstanding Student Honor from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
After dental school, she nobly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for 4 years where she practiced general dentistry. Dr. Battle held several leadership positions from Clinical Chief with a staff of 20 to Chairperson for Infection Control for her entire medical unit.
In 2015, she earned both her graduate certificate in Orthodontics as well as her Masters in Oral Biology at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, MD. During her residency, Dr. Battle served as the Chief Orthodontic Resident for the graduate program and was the first African-American woman named to this position. Moreover, Dr. Battle serves as a mentor for the university’s Student National Dental Association (SNDA) and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and the Hyde Park branch of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
A native of New York, NY, Yvette enjoys traveling, has a passion for playing basketball and owns an extensive collection of retro Jordan sneakers.
Dr. Peter Austin
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Austin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Austin completed post – graduate training in the areas of general anesthesia, dental – facial trauma, and in the dental treatment of medically compromised patients through a hospital residency program at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.
Through multiple post–graduate courses, Dr. Austin has attained Diplomat of the Board eligible status in Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Austin spent four years on the faculty of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry instructing in the area of dental restoration-rehabilitation. As a result of his training and experience, Dr. Austin serves as a consultant to a leading dental implant company.
Through the Volunteer Health Services Foundation, he has spent considerable time over twelve years as a volunteer dentist in remote areas of Haiti. When not working, he spends his time gardening, scuba diving and mountain climbing. His areas of focus in the practice include:

Full mouth dental rehabilitation - to restore the teath to function and cosmetics
Treatment of medically compromised patients – serving the special needs of patients with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc.
Dr. Austin is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Phillip Levoy
Dr. Levoy graduated from Loyola University Dental School in 1967. He has been a lifelong Chicago area resident. After Dental School he served in the United States Army as a dental officer in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. After his service, he began work with Oakview Dental.
Dr. Levoy is married and has two adult sons and two grandchildren. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and other dental organizations.
Dr. Greg Stern
Dr. Stern received his Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. His areas of focus in the practice include, general dentistry, implant restoration with dentures or crowns, treatment of sleep apnea and snoring in association with sleep medicine physicians. Dr. Stern is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Stern supports For The Cause, a fund-raising organization for autism awareness and research. Save the Children, St. Jude’s Children Hospital and Covenant House, which helps homeless teenagers. Originally from Dolton, Illinois, Dr. Stern currently resides in New Lenox, Illinois with his wife Pat and three daughters, Nichole, Rachael and Rebecca. He enjoys history, sports, the outdoors, drag racing, spending time with his family and has a keen interest in contemporary music. Dr. Stern supported himself through college and dental school as a drummer in a rock band.
Dr. Jeremy Winter
Dr. Jeremy Winter received his dental degree from Marquette University where he graduated with honors. He is a proud graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in Zoology and was an active member of the Pre-Dental Society and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Dr. Winter was exposed to dentistry at a young age and is a fourth generation dentist. His father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather all are/were dentists and have helped instill his love for the field. Dr. Winter loved his summers throughout high school and college where he would work at his family's dental office.
Dr. Winter prides himself in his community service and had the pleasure of spending a week in a remote village in Honduras performing free dentistry. He enjoys keeping up with the latest dental techniques through continuing education. He has taken courses from top clinicians in the field on topics such as Endodontics and Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Winter is very compassionate and warm and, although he loves performing all dental procedures, his favorite part of the profession are the lasting relationships he builds with his patients. Dr. Winter lives in downtown Chicago with his wife. They love to travel, attend concerts, and to try new restaurants all over the city.
Dr. Cesar Alburez
Dr. Alburez is originally from Guatemala City, there he was born and raised and obtained his dental degree from the Francisco Marroquin University. He continued his professional formation at the University of Connecticut where he completed his residency and fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He then obtained a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery where he rotated at the Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Saint Francis Hospital and John Dempsey Hospital.
To further his knowledge in oral surgery he enrolled in an oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at the Jacobi Medical Center in New York. Dr. Alburez is Fluent in Spanish. Dr. Alburez is currently a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Illinois District Dental Society. Dr. Alburez’s goal is to help his patients feel comfortable in a stress free environment, treating not only their dental needs but building a strong doctor/patient relationship. Dr. Alburez and his wife Gaby have a beautiful son Lucas, he enjoys playing softball, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Dr. Basel Hajjar
Dr. Hajjar received his doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry 1998. He completed advanced education in general dentistry at Columbia University in New York. In 2005 Dr. Hajjar completed a residency in periodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry and the Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr Hajjar researched implant bone types in human mandible at Indiana University from 2002 – 2005 and earned his master degree in Dental Science.
He is on staff at Methodist hospitals Southlake and Northlake campuses. He is an Assistant Professor for IUNW. Dr. Hajjar is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Midwest Society of Periodontology, the Indiana Dental Society, and the Northwest Indiana Dental Society. He and his wife Dana have two children and live in Crown Point, Indiana.
